Prompt:
start a new task in projects/research/ag-tech-mhs/ here’s what I want. I live inSW Vic. I’m not a farmer. I understand AI and part of the future of AI/ag is LLM based apps that speak to and between hardware like the proposed model hardware standard MHS from Anthropic. the research task is to figure out a small self contained pilot project that combines physical hardware with MHS-like capabilities essentially piloting agtech that a farmer can talk to and instruct in natural language via a platform like Claude.
What I was trying to achieve: I wanted to design a small pilot project combining hardware with LLM-based instructions on my farmland.
What happened: I researched LLM applications for controlling outdoor hardware, exploring whether Anthropic's proposed MHS standard could enable a practical pilot on my property. I conducted research across four streams and produced a 12-page report concluding that no existing shipped product lets a farmer speak to an LLM to operate hardware.
Reflection: I’ve already got my solar talking to my diesel generator…
Prompt:
Simon Willison has made an MCP for his website with a read only sql apparently https://til.simonwillison.net/llms/mcp-in-claude-and-chatgpt. Sounds like fun. Could I do one for leonfurze.com?
What I was trying to achieve: I wanted to explore building an MCP server for my website inspired by Simon Willison's datasette-mcp implementation.
What happened: I investigated Simon Willison's MCP approach and audited what I already have locally in my blog corpus and Archive game database. I found that most of the technical components I'd need to build an MCP for leonfurze.com already exist on the mini.
Reflection: Infrastructure already there, but in the end this turned out to be one of those start and forget projects
